Foot patrol (16/07/2026) |

|
Despite another long wait for England, the residents of the Parkside area didn't have to wait long to see Rick as he covered the beat in full as well as the ward's territories to the north of Central Park (6.17 miles).
Beginning in Hooks Hall Drive (4.57pm), Birch and Ely Gardens, Grove (5.11pm) and Home Gardens, along with Parkside House (5.21pm, p) via Bell Farm Avenue were all patrolled.
Tony Rawson Way, Eastbrook Close (5.33pm), Macdonald Avenue and Woodshire Road (p) followed, including a catch-up with some local kids, most of whom were a day away from the summer holidays.
Luke Allsopp Square (6.52pm) was next, before Wisdons Close (7.07pm, p) and Alex Guy Gardens.
Rick then checked in on two of Central Park's playgrounds, with Fels Field and the 'tree tunnel' (est. 7.50pm) taking him back towards Dagenham East and seeing out his afternoon. | ||
